About the Project
Have you ever wondered about the values of video games? Are video games merely a form of media designed to entertain its audience or can video games ever be used for something more?
Hello, my name is DJ and I have thought about those questions myself. However, I believe that video games can be utilized to develop important skills for people. The goal my Senior Research Project is to determine whether or not there is a correlation between video games and cooperation and to understand how to cultivate that relationship if there is one. By conducting this research, I hope to find a method by which team cooperation can be improved so that it can be applied to enhance teamwork in schools, businesses, and other communities.
During the course of my Senior Research Project, I will be working with BASIS students from Late Bird and have some of them play the video game, Vainglory.
